recipe book app

The Problem

Often, the recipes you come across on the internet lack user-friendly formatting, making it inconvenient for cooks to follow along seamlessly.
As a result, many individuals find themselves constantly juggling their phones, trying to comprehend and execute the recipe instructions effectively.

The Solution

The product offers a solution that reduces the need for constant phone interaction while tracking recipes.
It allows users to create their own personal recipe book and provides access to a diverse selection of additional recipes. This way, users can conveniently follow recipes without relying heavily on their cell phones.

Competitive Analysis

market research conclusions

Most apps are easy to navigate.

Applications are often designed with simplicity in mind, allowing users to easily learn and utilize the various features without much difficulty.

Certain apps can create a cognitive load while creating a recipe, as they present numerous details that may not be relevant to the user at that specific moment.

While there are numerous cooking apps available, each serving a specific purpose, there is currently no single app that seamlessly integrates all aspects of recipe management, including saving, creating, searching, and sharing recipes in one comprehensive platform.

"I hope for a centralized platform where I can gather all my recipes in one convenient location and where I could also search for additional recipes. It could save me a lot of time."

Persona 1- Alon Binyamin

family man, 32 years old, the main cook at home.
Alon likes to prepare varied meals for his family but all his recipes are scattered in different places and to find new recipes he has to go through different websites until he finds the recipe he wants to make.

25 years old, cooks as a hobby.
Inbal spends a lot of time on social networks looking for recipes and likes to try to make some of the recipes she sees for herself. But she finds it difficult to follow and navigate the recipes while preparing.

"When following a recipe I always have to touch my cell phone with dirty hands to rewind a video or scroll through the recipe. The constant need to wash hands every time I touch my cell phone can be quite frustrating."
